Silvia Ezquerra, Navarra Businesswoman Award 2019
Yesterday, Monday 11, the Association of Women Entrepreneurs and Managers of Navarra (AMEDNA-NEEZE, Association of Women Entrepreneurs and Managers of Navarra) awarded the Navarra Entrepreneur of the year 2019 award to Silvia Ezquerra Lavega, president of Talleres Ezquerra Seamers SL, one of the companies that make up Ezquerra Group
Since 2007, after the death of his father, Pablo Ezquerra, has contributed to the consolidation and growth of the family business, managing to position it as a leading player in the food industry nationally and internationally in manufacturing, reconstruction and maintenance of Closers and fillers of metal containers, used by companies in the food sector dedicated to canned vegetables, meat, fish and canning, Amedna said.
The awards, which this year meet its XXII edition, whose objective is to make visible and highlight the professional career that women entrepreneurs and managers develop with their daily work in the economic, labor and social field of the Regional Community, are possible thanks to the collaboration of the City Council of Pamplona. CaixaBank also supports these awards within its framework of collaboration with the association.
In addition, with the Navarra Entrepreneur of the Year Award, a novelty of this edition, it seeks to boost female entrepreneurship, showcase examples of female entrepreneurs and thus contribute to female business development. Amedna wants to “recognize and strengthen the effort of women who decide to create their own businesses, so that other women may have references and examples of female entrepreneurship.”
